Staff Profiles

Vincent P. Culotta, Ph.D., ABN earned his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Memphis in 1987 and completed his internship at the West Virginia University Medical School. He is a Licensed Psychologist with subspecialty training in clinical neuropsychology. Dr. Culotta has held clinical and administrative positions in medical, rehabilitation, and private facilities treating children, adolescents, and adults with neurobehavioral disorders. He served as Director of Neuropsychology in the Neurosurgery division at the University of Maryland’s Shock Trauma Center.

Dr. Culotta’s research and clinical interests include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injury, Mild Traumatic Brain Injury, and Neurotoxin Exposure. Dr. Culotta is a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology and currently serves as president of NeuroBehavioral Associates. NeuroBehavioral Associates is a specialty practice providing assessment and consultation to children, adolescents, and adults in Columbia, Maryland.

Sarah Weden, Psy.D. graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and specialized training in clinical neuropsychology. She completed a neuropsychology internship at the Neurological Institute at North Broward Memory Disorder Center and has worked with children, adults, and the elderly in a variety of clinical settings including medical, cognitive rehabilitation, psychiatric, and community mental health centers. Dr. Weden is currently a Licensed Psychologist at NeuroBehavioral Associates. Her research and clinical interests include Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Executive Dysfunction, Memory Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury, and medical psychology.

Kirk M. Griffith, Ph.D., MBA is a licensed clinical psychologist with over twenty years of clinical and healthcare management experience.  He received his doctorate in clinical/community psychology from the University of South Florida and his MBA, with a concentration in health services management, from Duke University.  He completed his postdoctoral training in clinical neuropsychology under the supervision of Dr. Allan Mirsky. He is also a nationally certified school psychologist.  He has focused his career on evaluating and treating the neuropsychological, educational, and mental health needs of children, adolescents, and adults, and in helping individuals of all abilities to reach their full potential.

In 2001, Dr. Griffith joined our practice in Columbia, Maryland.  He holds an adjunct faculty appointment in the psychology department at Loyola College in Maryland, where he serves on the Doctoral Program Advisory Board.  In his practice at Neurobehavioral Associates, he provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations with a focus on assessing individuals with neurodevelopmental differences, learning challenges, and attention disorders.

Eric J. Lane, Psy.D.is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 13 years of clinical experience.   He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Loyola College in Maryland, as well as a Masters degree in counseling psychology from Valparaiso University.   He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Lane has also held an adjunct faculty position at Loyola University in Maryland, where he taught both undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Psychology.   Dr. Lane also worked as a clinical director and psychologist for an adolescent diagnostic center.

At the present time, Dr. Lane's practice consists of conducting psychoeducational, psychological, psychosexual, and forensic evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults.   He also provides outpatient psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Dr. Lane has acted as a clinical consultant for a number of state, and community organizations. He frequently conducts regional trainings, and workshops on a broad range of clinical issues, assessment/treatment, and populations.

Susan M. Pellescki, M.S. earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola College in 1998. During her graduate school career, she completed a two-semester teaching assistantship in masters and doctoral Psychodiagnostics and became interested in neuropsychological assessment, brain injuries, learning disorders, and medical psychology. From 1998 to 2000, Susan worked as a research assistant in the Baltimore Regional Burn Center and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Then after a year of clinical work as a residential crisis unit manager, she began her employment with NeuroBehavioral Associates. At NeuroBehavioral Associates, Susan feels she has found her niche and intends to continue her career in the concentration of neuropsychological assessment.
Elizabeth A. Hodgin, M.S. earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola College in 2006. While attending graduate school, she completed two externships that involved testing and assessment of individuals with neurodevelopmental delays and varying degrees of dementia. From 2000 to 2008, Elizabeth worked as a teaching assistant for a non-public, special education facility. There, she gained a great deal of experience with students on the autism spectrum and those with emotional disturbances. She began her employment at NeuroBehavioral Associates in February 2009. Elizabeth is thrilled for the opportunity to work with and learn from each and every one of her clients.
